LOGO CONCEPT

With a new album, new destinations, and a new chapter unfolding, singer-songwriter Nicki Bluhm sought a fresh logo design to reflect her artistic evolution. Inspired by her renewed energy, the concept blends vintage and modern aesthetics—bold yet classic, clean yet expressive. The logo takes the form of a circular emblem featuring a stylized portrait of Nicki, set against a night sky backdrop. This composition creates a sense of depth and atmosphere, symbolizing her journey, creativity, and connection to nature.

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

Our design approach was guided by themes of empowerment, artistry, and the outdoors, with keywords such as clean, bold, classic, and earthy shaping the direction. The circular emblem frames Nicki’s likeness in a way that feels both iconic and personal, while the starry night sky adds a dreamlike quality. The color palette draws inspiration from Sam Phillips Recording in Memphis, a studio frozen in time from the 1950s where she recorded her latest album. This influence grounds the design in a rich musical legacy while keeping it fresh and contemporary. We designed various merch items including t-shirts, tank tops, a tote bag as well as a tour admat.
