FESTIVAL IDENTITY CONCEPT

Our objective for every festival identity is to create art that is not only visually captivating and relevant but serves as a comprehensive and successful toolkit for our clients. In particular we love this design challenge when we get to partner with a festival for multiple years. We enjoy the opportunity to build upon a cohesive brand while also coming up with creative and compelling ways to differentiate the branding from year to year.  Such was the case with Life is Beautiful whom we had the privilege of having a long term partnership with, collaborating on their branding, high level marketing and all of their onsite assets. The 2022 identity was one of our favorites with a custom photo composite conveying the feeling of being on the streets of Downtown Las Vegas at this dynamic and vibrant festival.

BRAND STYLE GUIDE

After finalizing the admat design we established a toolkit of the visual elements. The style guide serves as a reference tool, streamlining the content creation process for our clients by cohesively laying out logo usage guidelines, color palette, typography, supporting graphics and background elements. The components of this guide and its effectiveness are at the forefront of our mind throughout the entire creative process.

MARKETING STRATEGY

Effective festival marketing is key to driving fan engagement and successful ticket sales. We were responsible for the creation of all of Life is Beautiful’s high level marketing. From the lineup announcement and on sale, to promotion of their diverse and rich experiences ranging from culinary programming to art, to thematic stages, sponsorship activations and more. For every new experience introduced each year, we enjoyed creating distinct logos that functioned as individual ‘mini brands’.

ONSITE PRINTED MATERIALS

We take pride in delivering seamless design solutions for our clients’ events, while upholding brand integrity and maximizing functionality. Each year we created a branded patron festival site map, daily schedule grids and their program guide design. Additionally we created their stage scrim designs and assisted with merch designs.

CREDENTIALING SYSTEMS

Credentialing systems are an integral part of any event. They must serve first and foremost in a successful functional capacity for security, but they should also be beautifully branded designs that are fun keepsakes for the fans and staff. We were responsible for designing the entire credentialing system for Life is Beautiful for many years. This ranged from RFID cloth wristbands to parking passes, satins, pass boards and more. For the laminate designs we worked colored metallic foil into the designs and utilized the onsite festival artwork in clever ways.
